Version draft-2026-08-25. What is collected, why, who sees it, and your rights.

Draft — under legal review. This document states the platform's actual behaviour and intent, but it has not yet been settled by counsel. It will be versioned when it is; the version you accept is recorded, and a later version never rewrites what you accepted.

1. What is collected

Account data (name, email, mobile); organisation data you or your organisation submit (identity documents, registrations, bank details entered for financing execution); transaction data (requirements, orders, invoices, offers, dispatches, payments recorded); and platform records (sessions, and a log of every access to your data, including searches that returned nothing).

2. Why — the purposes

To operate the facilitation described in the Terms: structuring your requirement, showing it to financial partners whose declared mandate matches, carrying their offers, and keeping the execution trail. Data is not used to score you, rank you, or build a profile — the platform deliberately computes no score and keeps no ranking of anyone.

3. Who sees your data

Financial partners whose declared mandate matches see the requirement you chose to open — never your whole book, and never another partner’s offer. Named platform reviewers see what they review. Nobody else. FairFund does not sell data, and no external registry is queried about you except through connectors that are lawfully agreed and switched on — the live status of every connector is published on the landing page.

4. Where it lives, and for how long

Documents live in a private vault; nothing is served from a public URL, and every retrieval is hash-checked and logged. Audit and transaction records are append-only and retained because the execution trail is the product; account data is retained while your account exists and thereafter only as law or the append-only design requires.

5. Your rights

You may ask what is held about you, ask for corrections (recorded as new versions, never silent edits), and close your account. Consent given for a specific purpose can be withdrawn for the future. To exercise any of these, use the grievance channel below — each request and its outcome is recorded.

6. Grievances

Concerns about data handling go to the grievance channel described on the grievance redressal page, which also states its response commitments.
