FairFund / How it works

How FairFund works, from won business to a closed financing.

FairFund connects a business that has already won work — a tender award, a GeM purchase order, a work order or a contract — with banks, NBFCs and other financial partners, and records every step from that order to a verified repayment. It is not a lender: the financial partner decides, lends and is repaid.

Raise a Requirement Security and trust model

The transaction, step by step

Who it serves

Business / MSME

You have a genuine transaction and need finance or a facility to execute it.
  • Raise a requirement from a purchase or sales order
  • Get the documents verified
  • Open it to financial partners and compare the offers
  • Record delivery, invoice the buyer, track the receivable

Financial Partner — Bank / NBFC

You lend or issue against verified commercial transactions.
  • Declare a mandate, and see only what matches it
  • See the transaction and its evidence on one screen
  • Bid, blind to every other partner
  • Sanction, instruct payment, attest repayment, close

Supplier

You are being paid to supply the material.
  • Be named on the requirement you are supplying
  • Have your quotation carried as evidence
  • Be the direct beneficiary of a disbursement
  • See dispatch and receipt recorded against your supply

Buyer / project owner

You issued the order the whole transaction rests on.
  • Be named on the purchase order as its issuer
  • Have your payment terms carried through the transaction
  • Have your payment against the invoice recorded

FairFund reviewer

You check identity and authority, and nothing else.
  • Review organisation claims against authority evidence
  • Verify KYB against a document in the vault
  • Resolve directory conflicts and provenance queues
  • Never influence a partner's decision or a business's choice

Who can use it

  • A business with a genuine transaction behind its requirement: an order won, a supply to fund, or an instrument a tender demands.
  • An account belongs to a person, not to a company. What a person may do for an organisation comes from the authority that organisation has granted them.
  • Registering is not the same as being verified. An organisation’s KYB is a separate step, done by a named reviewer against a document in the vault.
  • Whether a requirement is financed is decided by the financial partner alone, under its own credit policy. FairFund never promises that any partner will offer.

Where money moves, and where it does not

FairFund never holds money

There is no balance, wallet, ledger or transfer column anywhere in the database, and tests assert those columns do not exist.

The partner instructs, FairFund records

The financial partner instructs a payment to a named beneficiary. FairFund records the instruction and the reference.

Payments are confirmed by a person

With no bank feed agreed, a payment is confirmed by a named person against a bank advice.

Closure needs a verified repayment

The partner states what is owed — FairFund computes no interest — attests the repayment, and closes only when it covers the amount.

Who is responsible for what

The financial partner

Performs its own KYC, underwriting, bureau checks, policy assessment, approval and documentation, and makes the credit decision under its own agreement with you.

The business

Brings the transaction and its documents, compares the offers, and chooses one behind a second factor, owing nobody a reason.

The supplier and the buyer

The supplier can be paid directly and sees its supply recorded; the buyer issued the order, and its payment against the invoice is recorded.

The platform

FairFund structures the requirement, verifies through named reviewers, connects and records. It never lends, guarantees, ranks or decides. Platform provided by SnxwFairies Innovations Private Limited (CIN U62013MH2025PTC463031).

Questions about how it works

Does a financial partner see my whole order book?

No. A partner sees the requirement you opened, and only if it matches the partner’s own declared mandate. The rest of your book stays private.

Can one financial partner see another’s offer?

No. Offers arrive blind: no partner sees another’s. They are listed in the order they arrived, with no score, no ranking and no badge.

What happens if a partner approves less than it offered?

The partner is free to approve less than it offered. The balance becomes a fresh requirement that partners can see in the same way.

Does FairFund decide who is at fault when a buyer pays late?

No. A late payment is recorded as a date, never as a verdict about anyone. There is no overdue flag and no days-late count.

When is a financing closed?

When the financial partner attests a verified repayment that covers what it states is owed. FairFund computes no interest; the partner states the amount.
